Ford Cortina GT rally car.
Major rust damage in the door sills and wheel arches. The vehicle has been paint stripped to investigate the amount of plastic filler and rust in the body shell. The outer door sills have been removed and the body shell braced. The body shell has been setup on a rotisserie. The internal panels have been sandblasted.
Repair panels have been manufactured and fitted to the rusted areas on the underside of the vehicle. An inner rail has been designed and spot welded in place to add additional rigidity for rally use. The inner door sill has been repaired. A donor car has been used as a major sectional repair panel. This includes the N/S and O/S outer door sill, turret, N/S and O/S front guards.
