The Iso is a rare Italian made car. This example is powered by a Ford V8. This vehicle was purchased from a collector as a major restoration project for the current owner. The rust in this vehicle is extensive. It has been poorly repaired and restored previously adding to the complexity of the restoration.
The rear guard panels have been removed to gain access to the inner rusted sections and to properly repair the exterior panels including the beaver panel. The rear section of the body is in such poor thin condition the rear of the vehicle is being repaired to stabilise prior to sandblasting.
The new inner rear rails, boot wall and boot floor are made from zinc-anneal sheet steel all welded sections have been painted in weld through primer to help reduce corrosion in the future.
